MICHAEL A. ORLANDO
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, NIF Group, Inc.

Michael has over 35 years underwriting experience, starting with the Sun Indemnity Company as an underwriting trainee, moving to Whitehill Agency, Inc. as a Casualty Underwriter, and then to Fred S. James (Rathbone Division) as a Commercial Accounts Representative. In 1969, he entered the Special Risk Insurance field with The Facultative Group of Great Neck, an affiliate of Foremost Insurance Company. In 1976, he established NIF Group when he purchased from Foremost Insurance Co the agency he was managing. Mr. Orlando has served on the Board of New York Surplus Lines Association and the Board of the Hermitage Insurance Company and Queensway Corporation. Mr. Orlando attended the College of Insurance.
MARK P. MAHER
PRESIDENT, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mark attended the College of Insurance Work-Study Program from 1978 to 1981. In 1981, he took a full-time position as a Property Facultative Broker at Willcox Baringer Inc. and continued college at night. In 1982, he became a Property Facultative Underwriter at Kaler, Carney, and Liffler, underwriting managers for Allstate Insurance Company. In 1983, he was hired as an Underwriter for both facultative and treaty reinsurance on the New York Insurance Exchange. In 1985, he joined Danmar Associates as an Excess Lines Broker/Underwriter for both property and casualty business, which was subsequently purchased in 1990 by NIF Group and later merged into what is now the NIF Service of New York. Mark became President of NIF Services of New York in 1999. In 2006, Mark became President and Chief Operating Officer of NIF Group, Inc.
MICHAEL PAUL ORLANDO

Michael joined NIF Group as an underwriting trainee in 1998 after graduating from New York University with a degree in Mathematics and an Engineering degree from Stevens Institute. He is currently the IT Manager in charge of all automation functions of the NIF Group and was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Group in June of 2006.
DAVID L. VICARI - PRESIDENT,

David began his insurance career in 1984 as a financial service Underwriter with National Union/AIG. From 1986 through 1988, he served as the New York Branch Manager responsible for all the Directors & Officers Liability and Professional Liability products offered by National Union. In 1988, he was promoted to Regional Manager with full management and underwriting responsibilities for the Professional Liability book of business. In January 1989, he was named A.V.P. / National Underwriting Manager of the Professional Liability Division. After nine years of service with National Union, David accepted a position with Frank Crystal & Co., Inc. and later joined NIF Group in February 1994 as Manager of the newly created Professional Liability Division, NIF Pro. David is a graduate of St. John’s University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
DANIEL M. MOGELNICKI - PRESIDENT,
NIF UNDERWRITING FACILITIES
Dan started his insurance career in 1978 with Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company, where he was the Underwriting Supervisor of the New York City Commercial Accounts Department. After nearly ten years with Atlantic, he joined Fred S. James in the Large Lines Marketing Department, and afterwards an Independent Retail Agency. From there, Dan went on to a medium-sized Retail Agency. He is a graduate of The College of Insurance. Dan joined North Island Facilities, LTD, a branch of NIF Group in 1990 and was Senior Vice President of Underwriting. He was named President of NIF Underwriting Facilities in June of 2006.
JOHN A. BUCKLEY – PRESIDENT,
NIF SERVICES OF NEW YORK
John graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH in 1982. In 1983 John joined Moore Excess, a surplus lines wholesaler. He eventually purchased the firm in 1991. Moore Excess was purchased by NIF Group in 1995 and John was named Sr. Vice President and part-owner in NIF Services of New York. In June of 2006 he was named President of NIF Services of New York. John served as president of the Professional Insurance Wholesalers Association (PIWA) 1991 to 1993. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Excess Lines Association of New York (ELANY).
JOHN G. ORLANDO - EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
John started in the insurance business over 30 years ago as a Claims Trainee for the Aetna Casualty and Surety Insurance Company and advanced to Claims Manager. In 1977, he joined North Island as Assistant to its Operating Officer in underwriting and administration. His current responsibilities for the Group are automation claims, administration, and underwriting. Mr. Orlando attended Queens College.
